General Conference

Well we have just spent the weekend listening to general conference. I sometimes wish we could do it more often. Yesterday evening at 5pm that is 10am MST President Monson announced the creation of 5 new temples. Argentina, Philadelphia (Yeah Josh), Kannas City area, and (two that really excited me) Calgary, Alberta and Rome, Italy. I am constantly amazed at the growth of the church. Elder Ballard spoke in this mornings session on how fast the church is growing. I am simply awestruck that a temple will be built in Rome. Living in Europe now we have seen the great world wide church as we have seen the church in Ireland, France, Switzerland and now the announcement of a temple in the heart of midevil Christianity. I am on a personal note excited for Calgary. After living there for almost a year I came to love the city and the people there. A temple will bless that city and the lives of those who live there. I can't wait to go back and see the temple finished and visit with all our friend and family in that wonderful city.
